**Duties and responsibilities related to the Events Waiter/Waitress ​role:**

+ Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests upon their arrival.
+ Present menus, provide detailed information on food and beverage items, make recommendations, and upsell specials or promotional items.
+ Accurately take food and beverage orders, paying close attention to any special requests or dietary restrictions (e.g., allergies, halal requirements, vegetarian preferences).
+ Use the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to relay orders to the kitchen and bar.
+ Anticipate and respond to guest needs throughout their dining experience to ensure their satisfaction.
+ Serve food and beverages according to the restaurant's standards of service, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
+ Monitor tables closely to clear used plates, glassware, and cutlery in a timely and unobtrusive manner.
