Job Description

Waiter (or server) is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a restaurant or other food service setting. Duties typically include:

Responsibilities

• Greeting Customers: Welcome guests as they arrive, escort them to their table, and provide menus.
• Taking Orders: Listen to customers’ orders, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations when needed.
• Serving Food and Beverages: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks to tables.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the dining area clean and organized, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Processing Payments: Handle cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment, and provide customers with receipts.
