Job Description

An opportunity has presented itself for a Wagon Maintainer to join our Maintenance team based in Greta NSW. 
What You’ll Do 
Hands-on wagon maintenance supporting safe and reliable rail operations. 
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will: 
Complete locomotive provisioning and shunting activities 
Complete unit train, UTM, FX inspections, and roll-by as required 
Perform scheduled and unscheduled on-train wagon maintenance, inspections, and repairs 
Respond to breakdowns, faults, and emergency recovery work in the network 
Carry out heating, cutting and welding activities 
Conduct mechanical and electrical fault-finding and testing 
Operate mobile plant, lifting equipment and vehicles 
Fabricate and assemble components for repair or modification 
Liaise with Planners, Coordinators, Supervisors to coordinate wagon requirements
