**Volunteer Description:**

Volunteers at Intermountain Healthcare serve in a variety of meaningful capacities that support our patients, visitors, and staff. As an unpaid volunteer, you contribute valuable time and talent that truly make a difference in our organization.

**The volunteer program requires the following:**

+ A minimum six‑month consecutive commitment.
+ 3–4 hours weekly.
+ Consistent attendance.
+ 16 years of age.
+ Work alone and independently.
+ Good communication and listening skills.
+ Ability to follow instructions.
+ Ability to work with diverse populations.
+ Physical mobility (walking, bending, standing).
+ Adequate hearing and vision.
+ Sensitive to patient and family situations.
