VMware Consultant Key Responsibilities: Design and implement standard VMware solutions Lead small projects or workstreams Manage VMware infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking Handle cluster configurations and performance tuning Support hybrid/cloud-based VMware environments Create and maintain technical documentation Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere Solid understanding of HA, DRS, lifecycle management Experience with distributed switches and NIC teaming Storage knowledge including SAN/NAS and VMware vSAN Exposure to VMware NSX (basic to intermediate) Backup/DR solutions and cloud platforms (VMware Cloud, Azure VMware Solution, etc.) Troubleshooting Skills: Diagnose CPU, memory, and storage performance issues Resolve cluster, host, and network configuration issues Log analysis and root cause identification Certifications: VCP (mandatory), working towards VCAP preferred Additional Notes: Expected to deliver independently ...
