**Overview**

GovCIO is seeking a VistA Transition Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Portfolio. The VistA Transition SME serves as a senior technical resource responsible for analyzing, planning, coordinating, and executing activities supporting the transition of legacy VistA applications during Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) deployments. Working closely with the Lead VistA Transition SME, Project Manager, Data Analysts, Technical SMEs, Technical Writers, government stakeholders, and site personnel, this role supports site readiness, transition planning, cutover execution, post-deployment validation, and ongoing operational monitoring.
