Title: Visitor Assistant

Location: Dover Castle, Dover, Kent, CT16 1HU

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: up to 20 hours per week, April to October (zero hours Nov - March)

Job type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Assist visitors from arrival until departure to ensure a great experience
• Recommend English Heritage membership and site activities
• Make the site accessible, safe and well presented at all times
• Work weekends and bank holidays as required
• Work with a team and provide excellent customer service to a diverse audience

Requirements

• Passion for people and excellent customer service
• Experience working with the public is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided
• Ability to work weekends and bank holidays
