Posting Details Title Visiting Laboratory Instructor - Chemistry Posting Number S01565JP Department Chemistry Job Summary The Chemistry Department is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to work closely with supervising faculty to teach laboratory sections in courses including introductory and organic chemistry.

Responsibilities include experimental design, laboratory preparation (the generation of laboratory handouts, assembling chemicals, maintaining equipment/instrumentation, and providing for the collection and disposal of all laboratory waste), presenting pre-lab lectures, supervising laboratory sections, scaffolding exploratory student mini-projects, supervising student assistants, providing guidance about data analysis and scientific writing, and grading pre-lab assignments and laboratory reports.

This is a full time, academic year position that has a two year appointment.
