Responsibilities

• Edit news video packages for broadcast, digital platforms, and archival use
• Prepare edited news outputs for RINGKAS, general news, and BERITA WILAYAH bulletins
• Produce urgent edits for breaking news, including VO, VT, and rapid turnaround news clips
• Edit special reports or Laporan Khas, including long‑form and in‑depth news coverage
• Create short‑form news content for social media platforms, including reels, TVS Updates, infographics, and segmented bulletin clips
• Edit creative content videos for non-news programmes, digital platforms, promotional materials, and other approved content initiatives
• Prepare post‑production assets including synced audio, colour correction, captions, motion graphics, and export files
• Ensure all edited outputs meet SMG’s technical, editorial, brand, and creative standards
