The Organization

Multi-Material Recycling Inc. manages two leading extended producer responsibility (EPR) programs for residential packaging and paper recycling through Recycle BC and SK Recycles. A not-for-profit organization, it works in partnership with producers, local governments, Indigenous communities, private service providers, and other interested parties to deliver efficient and sustainable recycling systems across British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

Recycle BC operates within the framework of British Columbia’s Recycling Regulation to manage residential packaging and paper recycling across British Columbia, serving more than two million households, covering over 99 percent of the Province through curbside, multi-family, depot, and community collection systems in partnership with local governments, First Nations, private haulers, and other organizations.
