Job Summary

Fully remote, location: remote from anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Whiteboard architecture for autonomous‑agent systems, considering token costs, latency, and quality.
• Review critical‑path code in the agentic orchestration layer.
• Solve distributed‑systems problems when coordinating multiple LLM‑based agents, managing context windows, and optimizing state persistence.
• Unblock engineers with hands‑on work: refactor bottlenecks, design new subsystems, debug production incidents that require deep systems thinking.
• Make real‑time trade‑off decisions: cost vs quality, speed vs reliability, cheaper models vs frontier models, analyzing token efficiency, model performance, and execution patterns.
• Write and ship features daily – optimize critical paths, own forensics when something breaks.
• Lead 100+ engineers through hands‑on mentorship; no management theater.
