**VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists** is seeking an experienced **Veterinary Technician** to join our **Surgery** teams at our 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service.

**Compensation** : $24 - $28 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.

**Scheduling** : Full-time, (4) ten-hour shifts

**About the Role**

As an experienced Veterinary Assistant, we want you to use your skills and knowledge to the fullest. Skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

+ Compassionate patient care
+ Patient assessment and triage
+ Client education and care
+ Hospitalization/ICU care
+ Anesthesia induction and monitoring
+ Surgical preparation and assisting
+ Radiology
+ Laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing
+ Venipuncture, catheterization
+ Pharmacy
+ Medical record keeping
