NVA Canada offers final-year veterinary technician students a unique practicum opportunity. Gain hands-on experience in patient care, lab procedures, and surgical assistance over two to eight weeks.
This practicum enhances clinical skills under the guidance of experienced veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs). You'll engage in patient care, anesthesia, radiology, and improve communication with medical teams and clients. Current students in an accredited program will benefit from a stipend to offset travel costs, ensuring a focus on valuable learning experiences.
