**_As a BluePearl Patient Care Veterinary Technician:_**

+ _You will be able to calculate basic medical math._
+ _You compassionately, calmly, and gently approach and handle patients._
+ _You will understand classification of commonly-used medications, associated side effects and appropriately monitors therapeutic response._
+ _You will administer medications via appropriate routes and duration._
+ _You will perform phlebotomy._
+ _You will have the ability to place peripheral intravenous catheter in all peripheral veins._
+ _You will alert Veterinarian if patient's status changes and/or physical exam or monitoring parameters are outside of normal ranges._
