Position Summary:
The Veterinary Technician duties are to assist veterinarians with clinical and clerical tasks while providing the best patient care. Have a strong work ethic, and a desire to help improve the health of our patients.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
The Veterinary Technician duties are to assist veterinarians with clinical and clerical tasks while providing the best patient care. Have a strong work ethic, and a desire to help improve the health of our patients.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
- Assist veterinarian with procedures and treatments as needed.
- Daily patient care, prep, and administration of PO, IV, and IM medications.
- Maintain proper documentation in the electronic and written medical record.
- Accurate obtaining and storage of in and out of house laboratory samples.
- Efficient and accurate use of in-house laboratory equipment.
- On call Duties are required, up to 1 weeknight (M-F), in addition to weekend rotation (every 3-4 weekends) and observed holidays.
- Required to live within 1 hour of the clinic for on call.
