Your Mission: As a veterinary technician at Nickerson Animal Health Center you will be expected to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude while helping with the care of patients. You will be assisting the veterinarian in the care of animals during exams, radiographs and other procedures as needed and communicating with clients regarding their pets' services and needs in a nurturing manner.

Specific responsibilities & duties:
- Manage the care of hospitalized animals & the follow up
- Safely get a patient from start to finish through a procedure
- Preform ear cytologies, fecal cytologies & blood draws
- Setting IV catheters (in multiple areas); vaccine preparation; TPRs; setting up x-ray
