Three Islands Veterinary Services is a small animal practice located in a beautiful small town nestled between two of the most scenic Kawartha Lakes. We are proud to have meaningful relationships with our clients and specialize in dentistry, receiving referrals from many clinics in our area.

Externship Overview

Students will work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gain experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creating treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, observing or assisting in surgical procedures, and managing medical care for patients. In addition to practicing clinical skills, students will have the opportunity to develop communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
