Veterinary Assistant

**VCA Yucca Valley Animal Hospital** is looking for a **Veterinary Assistant** to join our team.

**Location:** 57185 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284

**Wage range:** $19 - $22

**Schedule:** Full-Time, 4-day, 10-hour shift with alternating Saturdays

**_Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:_**

+ Previous experience or training/education working in a veterinary facility preferred.
+ Must be friendly, outgoing, and “people-oriented.”
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Telephone and computer skills are necessary.
+ Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments and to accept change.

**_Physical Requirements:_**

+ Dependable attendance is required.
+ Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
+ This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during an 8-hour day.
