Civil Service: Yes
Shift Hours: Sunday - Saturday 7:30am - 5:30pm (4x10 schedule. Actual days TBD. Subject to change with some weekend work required.)
Purpose of this position:
This position oversees the daily operation of the Shelter medical needs and employees.
• Performs various surgical procedures and treatments - including the ability to complete at least 25-30 spay/neuter surgeries each day in a timely manner and the ability, knowledge and desire to perform other surgeries such as amputations, mass removal, soft tissue damage and eye surgeries
• Maintains accurate records on the use of drugs, pharmaceuticals, equipment and supplies.
