Sealord – Trainee Factory Engineer
We are looking to add a trainee factory engineer to our 1,200‑person team. This role offers the chance to work at sea on a vessel, gain hands‑on experience with machinery and be part of a small, close‑knit crew.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair, maintenance and inspection of factory and vessel machinery.
- Support the crew during daily operations, including engine and mechanical systems.
- Follow safety procedures, instructions and company rules while on board.
- Work shift rotations of 12 hours on and 12 hours off, with meals provided.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior engineering or mechanical experience, or an equivalent trade qualification such as diesel mechanic, fitter and turner or machinery repair.
- Strong interest in working with machines, diesel or non‑diesel equipment and ability to learn on the job.
