Vehicle/Plant Technician

About the role

Cormac Solutions operate their own in-house vehicle and plant maintenance workshops within three locations across Cornwall. We are seeking a Vehicle/Plant Technician to cover the service, inspection and maintenance of light and heavy plant equipment. 

The bulk of our work is the maintenance of the Councils’ extensive and varied plant equipment ranging from chainsaws to Rubblemaster rock crushers. We also support a number of external companies by providing a maintenance service for their plant and this is a key growth area of our business. 

Flexibility and adaptability are required to meet customer expectations and service demands including working overtime and participation in an on-call rota. The workload is varied and will cover electrical tasks and fault diagnosis. You will be required to complete documentation accurately and promptly and abide by our zero harm health and safety policy.
