Job Description
The Vehicle Test Technician supports the development and validation of advanced electric, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fuel cell vehicles by managing test vehicles, performing routine maintenance, installing test instrumentation, and assisting with on-road and proving ground testing. This role works closely with engineers to ensure test vehicles are safe, reliable, and properly configured for a wide range of test activities in both standard and extreme environments.
Responsibilities

+ Support day-to-day test vehicle fleet management, ensuring all vehicles are available, safe, and ready for scheduled test activities.

+ Perform routine maintenance on EV, HEV, PHEV, and FCEV vehicles in accordance with established procedures and test requirements.

+ Collaborate with engineers to replace, upgrade, and update test vehicle hardware and software as needed to support ongoing development programs.
