Vehicle Systems Resident Engineer

**Job Description**

**DUTIES** : Works with execution zone manufacturing engineers engaged in developing manufacturing processes, designing equipment and tooling, integrating equipment, installing them into the plant, and monitoring to steady state. Work on all new programs, model changes and current production in a specific area. Define all areas of change, which include product and manufacturing requirements including tooling, workstation setup, and facility. Contribute to program finances and maintain budget requirements. Ensure efficient material flow for future material movement. Develop interfaces, and work with cross functional teams to develop and define common tooling and process across whole department and other groups. Develop tooling SORs. Provide technical direction to and oversight of outside vendor sources.
