Vehicle Powertrain Calibration Engineer

AVL is the world’s largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines and their integration into the vehicle.

Joining the AVL team in México, you will be responsible to carry out vehicle powertrain calibration activities in engine test bed and vehicle test benches.

• To solve any ECU (Engine Control Unit) related issues during engine test bed testing of internal combustion engines and hybrid powertrains.
• To adapt calibration data to fulfil emissions limits, drivability concerns, fuel consumption targets, performance targets, etc...
• To steer development and implementation of improvement measures to avoid ECU (Engine Control Unit) related issues and more generally to improve KPIs for engine ...
