Value-Added Services Engineer

Job Summary The Value-Added Services Engineer provides a mix of technical expertise, program management and sales development to assigned customers. This position will provide technical expertise to support customers and grow value added sales. The Value-Added Services Engineer is responsible for reviewing, estimating, and quoting of customer specific prints. Additionally, the position will support the overall program and relationships management associated with assigned customers.

Responsibilities

Use technical knowledge to determine a purchase order cost.

Ensure that the company is capable of producing to customer print specifications and that sub-contractor requirements (plating, heat treat, grinding, etc.) and quality requirements are documented.

Monitor and analyze project cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts.

Assure machine parts are processed to specification using tools appropriate for the application.
