Role: Validation of Battery and BMS Technical/ Functional:
Responsible for validation of cells, battery packs and BMS which is being used in an EV. Responsible for DVP completion of battery pack level, including performance and reliability testing. Responsible for cell level characterisation and DVP of the cell Pack level lifecycle test for ageing characteristics of the battery pack Software level validation of BMS algorithms – functional as well as safety Specific expertise required for functional area:
Good understanding of different cell chemistries and actionable knowledge on each of the widely used chemistries Familiar with electric vehicle standards and regulations including AIS, ISO functional safety amongst others.
