Job Description

Context & Job description
As a technician in the Radio Frequency group, you will work on vacuum and high-power components. This covers a frequency range from 352 MHz to 5.7 GHz which are used or planned for use in the ESRF accelerator complex.

You will take part in the maintenance, repair, operation, and upgrade of the vacuum system, including the design and implementation of both existing and new RF installations. As some RF components use sulphur hexafluoride (SF₆) gas, you will receive full training and support to obtain the required certification.

Your tasks will include:
Ensuring that the procedures and equipment used for vacuum interventions are appropriate 

Monitoring and maintaining vacuum equipment 

Implementing and carrying out repairs technology of the vacuum components and performing them

Performing performance analyzes in order to optimize them
