Vacancy: Qualified Pipe Fitter, Vereeniging, Gauteng

One of our leading Clients in the Engineering and Manufacturing industry is seeking to appoint a Qualified Pipe Fitter to join their team in Vereeniging, Gauteng.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Installing or repairing plumbing, heating and cooling, and marine piping systems.
• Cutting and hammering pipes to specification using saws, cutting torches, and pipe benders.
• Studying blueprints and construction plans for pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
• Assembling and securing pipes, tubes, and fittings by welding, brazing, soldering, and cementing of joints.
• Inspecting and testing installed pipe systems using pressure gauges and hydrostatic testing.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
• Trade test certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
