Job Description

The Utility Operator works in a manufacturing and fabrication environment and supports operations by safely operating equipment, performing sanitation and basic preventive maintenance, and following loading schedules to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Will work with press brakes, CNC lasers, robotic welders, saws, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic preventive maintenance on equipment to support reliable and efficient operations.
• Use hand tools to assist with mechanical assembly, adjustments, and minor repairs as needed.
• Apply basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues related to equipment, processes, and product flow.
• Read and interpret basic instructions, work orders, or diagrams to complete assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate issues or delays to supervisors in a timely manner.
