Hello! I’m Jherika, a horse owner in Moscow, Kansas. I am searching for a reliable and caring individual to provide pet feeding services for my beloved horse. I need a trustworthy person that can travel to the farm east of Moscow, KS twice a day to ensure my horse gets fed when I am away.
The role involves basic feeding. Must be comfortable with horses as he is very friendly and playful and has a good appetite so will always be at the gate to greet you. Feeding is simple and pre-portioned but water must be added to the food to soften it. He is a very old horse and does not have any back chewing teeth and will choke on the food if it is not mushy. Experience with pet sitting is a plus, but a genuine love for animals is essential. As well as comfort in a farm setting, the individual will need to be safe and alert at all times as kansas country side is home to many wild animals including rattlesnakes and tarantulas and rodents.
