Urgent Care Assistant - Minimum Hours Contract (Keynsham)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Urgent Care Assistant to support our service on a minimum hours contract at Keynsham.

Working Hours

Minimum 2 shifts per month with the option to work up to 37.5 hours per week on a 12‑month contract.

Key Responsibilities

Driving

• Drive clinicians to patients’ homes safely and legally.
• Perform basic vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift.
• Accurately record all medications and consumables used.

Reception

• First point of contact for patients or carers at treatment centres.
• Support clinicians during shifts.
• Communicate with patients in person and by telephone (comfort and welfare checks).
• Maintain a clean and tidy treatment centre.
