Upholstery Assembler

**_POSITION SUMMARY_** :

The Upholstery Assembler position is responsible for putting the vinyl covers and or carpet on the production and warranty components and securing them in place.

**_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_**

+ Installs components on to sub-straights using various stretching, pulling and shaping techniques
+ Completes work and inspects finished product for quality.
+ Performs various manual assembly operations such as: trimming, hinge installation, and foam gluing.
+ Identifies components for each task.
+ Operates and performs daily cleaning and maintenance on various assembly machines such as: snap, hydem machine, screw guns, drills and staple guns.
+ Identifies direction of nap of carpet.
+ ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

**_EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:_**

+ Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
