Upholsterer

Your new role as an experienced Upholsterer at DFS involves producing high‑quality upholstered furniture using a range of materials and techniques. You’ll prepare frames, fit springs, and upholster with fabric or leather, ensuring every product meets our exacting standards. You’ll work as part of a team, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and support efficient production.

Location: Birchwood Way, Somercotes, Alfreton DE55 4QQ.

Salary: £18 per hour (training rate) – piecework thereafter.

Schedule: Full‑time, 39 hours per week. Monday to Wednesday 14:00‑00:20, Thursday 14:00‑23:05.

• Produce high‑quality upholstered products in line with specifications.
• Prepare frames, add foams and fibres, and use springs to prepare for upholstery.
• Fill cushions with appropriate fillings and cut materials as needed.
