Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the care team in the home to ensure that residents are supported to live in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
• Conduct and record supervisions and appraisals with the care team, setting and reviewing suitable objectives for development.
• Support the ongoing development of the care team, including acting as a mentor to home employed care staff and students on placement.
• Contribute fully to team working, responding positively to colleagues and actioning all reasonable work instructions promptly.
• Attend relevant staff meetings and training as required. Operational: Collaborate with the care team to plan and deliver resident care.
• Administer, receive and manage medications for residents in accordance with company policy and Regulations.
