Main Focus Areas

The Unit Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that Quality nursing care and service delivery is implemented and practiced within a multi-disciplinary  team In accordance, the Unit Manager will be accountable and responsible for coordinating capacity building, mentoring, coaching, training and development in his / her unit

Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

• Ensure that your unit is providing safe, cost effective quality patient care in line with the clinical governance strategy of hospital and evidence based practice
• Evaluate the patient’s journey via patient experience and stakeholder contribution
• Evaluate and monitor nursing quality indicators and clinical outcomes
