UNIT MANAGER, DIAGNOSTIC HEALTH SCREENING & ENDOSCOPY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The In‑Charge is overall responsible for the direct management of the activities of the designated service. The role monitors and improves standards of care through supervision of nursing practice, clinical audit, teaching, and research. It involves total nursing management outside normal working hours in the hospital when required.

RESPONSIBLES FOR

Direct supervision and coordination of activities in the allocated unit/ward, in line with Nursing Services policies and procedures. Keep the Chief Nursing Officer and Deputy Chief Nursing Officer informed of incidents or reportable situations that require nursing administrative involvement.
