Unit Manager - Counselling Services

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to counselling staff, supporting professional growth, ethical practice, and high-quality service delivery.

Oversee counselling programs, including intake, caseload management, scheduling, and service coordination, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and funder requirements.

Lead the development and expansion of counselling services, including new therapeutic groups, service models, and program initiatives to meet emerging community needs.

Identify and support funding opportunities, including grant development, reporting, and exploring revenue-generating initiatives such as partnerships, contracts, and fee‑for‑service programming.

Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence‑informed services through risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement practices.
