Unit Head, Market Risk – Risk Management

Job Type: Permanent

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Finance, Business, or Economics or related field

Minimum Requirement: 7+ years of banking experience with a strong background in Risk Management, Treasury, or quantitative analysis

Key Responsibilities

• Independently monitor the business’ compliance with the independent limit/trigger framework
• Agree upon corrective actions for limit excesses in conjunction with business management
• In conjunction with CRO, review Market risk & Liquidity Risk Management Policy periodically, and update as required.
• Recommend exceptions to the policy; notify the CRO & BRC of material exceptions; maintain a file of approved policy exceptions.
• Review the Funding and Liquidity Plans.
• Propose MAR limits, as appropriate.
• Prepare Market Risk Limits Package - Price & Liquidity Risk for SBL.
