Underwriter

Process and underwrite new business/re-advance applications, partner new and pre-approved applications.

Handle SME funding applications and EFT applications.

Conduct full credit assessments of applicants.

Complete credit and reference checks.

Achieve performance targets and maintain performance standards.

Meet internal SLAs stipulated per product.

Manage accuracy, completeness, and turnaround times for deals.

Prepare documentation for Risk and Decline Appeal meetings.

3 - 5 years of underwriting and analysis experience.

Credit risk and/or credit underwriting experience in the financial services sector.

Matric.

Advanced Certificates/Diploma in Business/Finance/Accounting.

Advanced Excel skills.

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Adapt well to change.
