TekCom Resources is looking for an Underground Directional Driller for a full-time, direct hire role with a telecom construction firm in the Buford, GA (Atlanta Metro) area!
As an OSP Underground Directional Driller, you will operate heavy equipment necessary for underground fiber installation - plowing, installing duct, pulling fiber and burying drops. Candidates MUST have directional drilling experience to be considered for this role. This work is focused in and around, so your work will take you up to 1-2 hours outside of market, but overnight travel is not a typical part of this role.
Your duties will include:Operate heavy equipment to plow, place duct, pull cable and direct bury mainline and drops Assist with location and verification of utilities prior to work Read utility locates, coordinate potholing and ensure safety of existing facilities Help keep projects on schedule and ensure quality of underground installatio...
