Underground Construction Technician

Our Distribution group is currently looking to add Underground Construction Technician (s) to our growing team, based in Calgary, AB.

Reporting to the Foreman, we are seeking a physically capable and team-oriented construction professional to support the installation of underground electrical infrastructure on the Calgary Green Line LRT project. This is a hands‑on field role involving underground cable and conduit installation, equipment operation, excavation, concrete walls, and support systems, laying the foundations for trackwork and electrical systems.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Erect temporary support structures, pouring concrete for retaining walls, and installing structural steel ribs or pre‑cast concrete liners
• Dig shallow trenches, reinforcing and covering them with concrete
• Shovel, load, and remove excavated earth and debris
