**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**Role Summary:** The ultrasound technologist operates ultrasound equipment to make quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures. Accomplishes patient care in a timely, professional, efficient and safe manner. The ultrasound technologist must be able to think and act independently and assess emergency situations accurately. Good oral and written communication skills are required.
