Ultrasonographer - OB/GYN - PART TIME

Summary

The OB/GYN Ultrasonographer is responsible for providing ultrasound services to the physicians and Advance Practice Providers (APP)within Lee Physician Group. The sonographer performs scans at multiple sites for obstetric, gynecologic and infertility patients. The individual in this position is responsible for performing sonographic exams and assisting in ultrasound-guided office procedures via transabdominal and transvaginal instrumentation. The OB/GYN Ultrasonographer analyzes sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, and communicates sonographers impression via written reports to the appropriate physician. The ultrasound technologists performs under the general supervision of a physician and in accordance with state and federal regulations, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) guidelines and Lee Memorial Health System/Lee Physician Group policies and procedures.
