Job Description

About the role:
An opportunity exists for an experienced Tyre Supervisor to join our Wilpinjong Mine. Our is an open-cut mine located 50 kilometers northeast of Mudgee producing a high quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for all day to day mine activities in compliance with all relevant statutes by providing leadership to achieve safe and effective production. 
You will be part of a dynamic team contributing to the successful performance of the mine along with the following duties: 
Providing practical input into the content of all short and long term maintenance plans

Providing leadership, motivation and support to all roster, and day night shift team members, taking accountability for team performance including contractors

Promoting a team culture of continuous improvement and innovation, including cost saving initiatives
