SEND TUTOR – Peterborough

Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed SEND Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils in or around Peterborough who have additional learning and behavioural needs.


In this role, you will create and deliver bespoke lessons aimed at bridging learning gaps, boosting confidence, and helping students reconnect with education. Many of the pupils you support may have been away from mainstream education for some time, so a patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition sessions based on each student’s individual needs

  • Provide support in core subjects including Maths, English, and Science

  • Encourage confidence, independence, and effective study habits

  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/carers where required
