Turbine Generator Service Technician (Winder)

**Job Description Summary**
As a Turbine Generator Service Technician (Winder) you will perform operations involving the inspection, disassembly, assembly, repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical components in Turbine Generators with emphasis on the Generator Rotating Field.

**Job Description**

**This is a 4-week rotating shift position.**

**Essential Responsibilities** :
As a Winder you will:

+ Perform mechanical disassembly, refurbish & reassembly of generator rotors in high quality and timely fashion using induction heating machines, large propane torches, overhead cranes and various hand and power tools (i.e., removal and installation of coupling, fans, retaining rings, blower hubs, wedges, blocking, copper coils)
+ Perform work according to technical drawings, work procedures and work orders with minimal supervision
