Responsibilities Lead and execute full-vehicle transient thermal CAE modeling from inception to completion, including CAD data acquisition, model cleanup, meshing, boundary condition setup, and post-processing. Assess thermal performance of front-end cooling systems, under-hood and body components, and cabin human comfort. Conduct advanced front-end CAE analyses such as 3 D airflow simulations, heat exchanger and fan sizing, and optimization of front-end openings and grille designs. Evaluate exterior design proposals from the studio and support the design-theme selection process, ensuring alignment with overall performance objectives. Collaborate with the aerodynamics team to balance thermal and aerodynamic considerations and provide integrated design solutions.
