Job Description

You will collaborate within a close-knit team in a customer facing role. The team is highly safety focused, and process driven and will ensure that you are supported. You will be completing scrap metal & e-waste collections across Mackay, as well as working alongside the staff in the yard. 

The working hours vary, but typically between 6 am – 4 pm. Overtime opportunities available as and when required.
The hourly rate is $., + Super, + overtime, + a $, per annum remote living allowance.
Key responsibilities:
Operate heavy vehicles in a safe and efficient manner

Collaborate with the Transport Supervisor to complete deliveries across the region

Loading the truck using overhead cranes

Adhere to Australian rules and regulations regarding the operation of heavy vehicles

Provide excellent customer service

Adhere to all WHS and Heavy Vehicle Transport regulations, policies and procedures
