Truck and Trailer Mechanic

Location: Biggar, SK.

Job Summary

The shop is seeking a truck and trailer technician with experience in a variety of repair areas. The role will perform diagnostic and repair work on trucks, trailers, and diesel equipment, including braking and air systems, DEF systems, computer diagnostics and programming, A/C, exhaust, wiring, and engines. The technician will work independently or as part of a team and report to the shop owner.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake & air system repairs
• Repair DEF systems, computer diagnostics and programming
• Maintain A/C, exhaust, wiring, engines and related systems
• Complete troubleshooting and repair of other mechanical and electrical components
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification preferred, but 3rd & 4th year apprentices and experienced technicians considered
