The nurse is responsible for checking patients medications, vital signs, lab results, and history to ensure that it is safe to proceed with the planned study. The nurse is responsible for responding to any IV infiltration, contrast reaction, patient fall, or patient safety event. MRI is focused on patient and team member safety going into the MRI magnet.
